Metering

## What you are billed for

**One call, one count**

A request to a `/v1` endpoint or an MCP tool call. REST and agents share one allowance and one key.

**Test keys are free**

A `gf_test_` key reads the same live data, is never billed and has its own 25,000-call monthly cap.

**Overage, not outages**

Past the allowance, paid plans keep answering at DKK 1 per 1,000 calls. Headers report both your rate limit and your monthly quota.

The dashboard is in Danish; the API reference is in English, and response fields use the registers’ own Danish names.

## Billing questions

### What counts as a call?

One request to a /v1 endpoint, or one MCP tool call — they are metered the same way and draw on the same allowance. A :batch request counts once per distinct ID in it. Test keys (`gf_test_`) are never metered against your plan.

### What happens if I go over the allowance?

Paid plans keep answering and bill the extra calls at DKK 1 per 1,000, so a traffic spike becomes an invoice line rather than an outage. The Free plan is a hard cap instead: it stops at 5,000 calls and never bills you.

### How does yearly billing work?

A year paid up front is 20% below twelve months at the monthly price, on Starter, Pro and Scale. The monthly allowance still resets on the 1st of each month; overage on a yearly plan is settled at renewal.

### Which features depend on the plan?

Every register, the address endpoints and the MCP server are on every plan, Free included. The national building search’s full result pages and exports start at Starter; batch lookups, webhooks, the PDF pre-screening report and the property watchlist start at Pro; bulk export and point-in-time history (`?asOf=`) start at Scale. Plans otherwise differ in allowance, rate limit and support.

### Do you invoice in euros, and is VAT added?

Prices and invoices are in Danish kroner. Danish VAT (25%) is added for Danish customers; EU businesses with a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse-charge rules. Self-serve plans are paid through Stripe from the dashboard; the Enterprise contract is agreed directly.

### Can I try it without a card?

Yes. The Free plan needs no card, and a `gf_test_` key is a sandbox on real data that is never billed, capped at 25,000 calls a month of its own — enough to build and test the whole integration before choosing a plan.
